Child arrangment orders and residence.

My ex and I have a court ordered child arrangement order. In it, it states children live with me.
Are these new orders the same as residence orders, as in do I need permission from ex to go on holiday to the south of France?
Would prefer not to contact him, as he doesn't have contact without CAFCASS supervision.

Yes they are. Provided you are going to be out of the country for less than one month you do not need your ex's consent.
