No a witness would never be interviewed under caution, only a suspect of a crime would be interviewed under caution.

But yes an interview under caution could be conducted in the suspects home.

Yes it should be, it's rare for it not to be, but it does depend of the crime the suspect is accused of.
But if the interview was done at home I would hazard a guess it's not a major crime.

It would be extremley rare to be interveiwed under caution for a crime at home. You really would need to be bed bound. Witnesses do not get interviewed under caution unless they have been asked to voluntaily be interviewd under a caution +2, which is under caution and you are allowed to leave at anytime because you have not been arrested OR a caution +3 which is the above, plus its at a police station and you are also allowed free and independant legal advice.

Why don't you tell us what has happened (as best as you can) as obviously she is not a witness?

tiredgranny · 22/07/2014 07:33

acquaintance in horse world drugs horses b 4 selling, when buyers come to c they are calm etc.

her 14 yr old daughter used to ride for her and muck out horses. my sister waited for her couple hours and often helped mucking out.

I think the lady who sells the horses is trying to blame 14 year old for drugging horses.

they have not been in contact for 2 years.
