My story is complicated. We are renting from my husband's aunt and uncle. No deposit was taken and we had quite a low rent. However the house was in total disrepair when we moved in. We were asked to take on the repairs and have invested £50,000 (all our savings) into the property. We were also promised that we would never have to leave. Now the uncle has died and the children want to sell.
Can we make any claims? We will be homeless if they evict us!
