My cousin and her ex partner have been split about a year, he's been paying the mortgage as her maintenance direct from his account, now he wants to change it so that the direct debit for the mortgage is in her name and to lower the payment, but both names are still on the mortgage, she basically wants to know if he's being fair in doing the cm in this way, as he just springs this on her with no discussion, she will be making an appointment with cab and a solicitor if need be, thanks in advance.
