Car alarm keeps going off

I've had 3 to 4 hours sleep as a neighbours car alarm keeps going off. We've written to the Council and know she got sent a letter as she stomped round to tell us she's had it sorted three times. So she is aware of it.

We were very aware again last night as it went of at 3.40am, 4.10am and 5.00am I afraid at 5am approx I told her to turn her alarm off. I got called a bleep cow. It went off again at 6.15am and again a short while later. Just wish she'd park it somewhere else so other residents of our city could enjoy it honking and flashing away.

We've decided to fill in the forms the council sent us, we have to record every time it goes off. My question is how long will it take to get it sorted, does anyone have any idea? Currently thinking of a night at the local Lenny Henry place just so I can get some sleep.

she hasn't had it sorted, any more than someone who gets fat again had a diet work...

You could always try suggesting cheap fixes. Is it by any chance an older Mondeo? I've had these and the alarm always misfires, so I disconnect them. She needs to disconnect the extra horn in the boot (the main horn will still work). If that doesn't stop it, pull the alarm fuse. Done.

or do you know anyone who you can ask to steal it? Wink

Thank you. The council appear to be taking it seriously and visited her today.

Unfortunately I think if it was stolen the thief would bring it back as the honking and flashing would give the game away.

Maybe I'll sleep tonight.
