Just out of curiosity, does anyone know what would happen if the ex didnt show in court for the first hearing. Hes taking me, he wants full residence of our children.

If he a solicitor they will ring to find out where he is and if he has a good reason for not showing up, if he doesn't the court clark will. They will 99% of the time re-schedule if he misses it again without a very good reason they will make an order without him present
