my land lord was my sons mate we paid him 3 months rent when they went in ( no recite) my son has been in house for 7 years done loads to the house the land lord is not on the run from police and his ex wife trying to get us out giving us a sec 21 , this house was not a buy to let house so where do we go from here we have paid up rent every month for 7 years and gave him 3 month bond . now solicitors are bullying us to get out and we have 2 children aged 8 and 1 has atuisham
can some on ehelp pls

Hi Jenny, if you call Shelter they have legally trained advisors who can tell you what steps you can take.

Go to the local Citizens Advice Bureau with all the paperwork to find out a bit more about what your rights are in this situation. If you've been given a Section 21 letter I'd start to look for other accommodation asap.

if the section 21 is valid you have to leave. You can wait for the bailiffs but that will cost you in the long run.

is your deposit protected?

I'm sorry for your situation but you do need to look for a new place.
