Can anybody help a confused (and rather sad) executor?

I am an executor for my DM's will and I'm hoping someone can give me a quick bit of advice with regard to a problem I (may) have with how to deal with a request from a beneficiary.

I'm reluctant to give details on a public forum, but was wondering if anybody knowledgeable about probate would be willing to give me their thoughts if I PM'd them?

It's nothing too gruesome, promise, just something that's starting to worry me a bit.
