Hoping somebody can please help/offer some advice!
My DH has parked in our local supermarket and not purchased a pay and display ticket, obviously we have been fined. 
My argument is that the charge is refunded if you spend over a certain amount in store - which we did, and have a receipt as proof.
Is this enforceable? Should we appeal or ignore?
The company is Smart Parking btw.
