Going through red traffic light and NIP.

Quick question.
If you went through red traffic light, do you need to be informed within two weeks if you were to be fined/given points on your driving license?
After this period can you consider that no action will be taken?

Is the same applicable to speeding?

Yes if you haven't received it within 14 days then it won't be sent.

DH did this at a traffic light in the Midlands somewhere last week. He said it was really confusing and he wasn't sure how the system worked. He was turning right and not a straight forward light apparently.

He was flashed twice so we are just waiting for the fine now.
