Wondering if anyone legal minded can help... my ex and me are going through court over daughters residence. At the directions hearing he claimed he wanted to also file for residency. The judge told him to do so by last Friday. He did it 4 days late. Will this matter? Or dose it just add to the fact he is irresponsible!?! Thanks

At the judge's discretion whether to accept it, I would have thought (I'm a lay person, but have seen late applications both accepted and rejected, depends on the circumstances).

But yes, it will definitely not reflect very well on him unless he has a very good reason!
