Gifts and separation

Does anybody know the rules of gifts and separation?
My husband bought me a two year phone contract in his name 11 days before he left me. He now wants the phone back. I don't want to give it to him. What is my position?

I would think that as it's in his name, it's his property. I'd want it back if I were him too. Like giving you a credit card that's in his name.

Why don't you want to give it to him?
