I have a FDR hearing in a couple of weeks and solicitor suggests i get a barrister, an expense i cant afford.
anyone had any experience with an FDR hearing and do you suggest its worth a barrister?

A friend of mine has been in this situation and what she said about what happened is very similar to this:-

But, at the least, I would suggest having your solicitor there.

Have you asked your solicitor why they were recommending a barrister in your case? That might give you more of an idea.
