We are having building work done & our next door neighbour has just lodged a complaint about putting in external stairs.
The stairs are currently inside going down to the back garden but we want to move them outside & put a door in from our upstairs utility room. (Owner of ground floor flat has no complaints & is fine with all work) Neighbour has said that as we will be able to see into her garden from the stairs it interferes with her right to enjoyment of her garden. We can already see into her garden from one of our windows.
We would not be able to see into her house, only garden.
A lot of the houses on the street have also already had outside stairs put in.
Does she stand a chance of getting our planning permission denied?
What can we do?
Help!
