I bought an Amazon kindle fire tablet for my 10 yr old dd for Christmas from Argos. At first it was fine and worked properly. Now, suddenly the sound has disappeared, both from the external speakers & the headphone speakers. It hasn't been dropped or anything, just one minute the sound was there, and the next it was gone! I want to return it to Argos, but need to know my rights if they try to fob me off. I didn't take out any of the 'protection'stuff Argos tried to sell me when I bought it, but I would describe it as faulty, so do I need that anyway to get it fixed or a replacement?
