Hi, am enquiring on behalf of my MIL who wishes to sell the house she owns with PIL. They divorced three years ago, have severed the joint tenancy and have no mortgage on the property.
She hasn't yet informed him of her wish to sell and he may agree to it (he has another partner and lives with her part of the time, part of time in property to be sold). But she is willing to go to court if he refuses to sell. Any idea of cost the this is likely to be?
