running business from residence

Hi

I am splitting from my partner. We have a jointly owned home, part of which he converted to business use, installing equipment etc.

I believe this will detract from the house when it goes up for sale. Providing I donot damage his equipment, could I revert the space back to its original state when he goes on holiday next month, or would this be breaking any laws?

Well, as long as you put it back before he gets back then what he doesn't know won't hurt him.
