Form E - do i query now or wait until the Questionnaire Stage

I'm in the family courts in January, can't afford a solicitor so representing myself.

I received my ex's latest Form E a few days ago.

There are so many 'errors' in his finances, i'm unsure whether i wait until i complete the questionnaire, or i write to his solicitor asking him to correct all the errors i can prove to not be the truth.

Could anyone tell me whether this is ok to do, or i'm best to wait until the questionnaire. I'm concerned it will be so long the judge won't look at everything i've put.

Put it all in the questionnaire.

As Collaborate says, put everything into the questionnaire. The time scales set out on your Notice of Appointment must be stuck to, ie you must file it on time and serve a copy on your husband. Equally you must respond to his as far as you can before the hearing, so that the court can focus on those questions which are:

  1. unanswered
  2. most relevant.

This isn't set down in the rules but is good practice as otherwise the court will have to plod through a great long list of questions when time is very limited.
