Tier 1 car accident payment- is this a scam?

I've had a call from a company who have said that payment has been allocated for me as I was in a car accident a couple of years ago. I was in fact in an accident but it was quite minor, though extremely stressful.

They have given me their website but I have a strong feeling this is a scam. Anyone heard of this?

Ambulance chasers. They cold call thousands until they find someone who has had an accident then try to get them into an expensive no win no fee deal. Ignore.

Thanks! Thought it was strange. I'm getting on average 10 calls per week from these companies, is there anything I can do to block them?

I am getting tons of calls. Different companies.
They know all about my accident. They tell me my details have been passed onto them. By the other persons insurance company. It was her fault not mine.

Driving me mad. I have stopped answering the calls. But I am getting lots.

I don't know what to do.

Unless they're complete chancers, the telephone preference system might do it.
