Sick leave plz help

I have taken two days sick leave as I was quite unwell and didn't want to spread my bugs. My boss has taken off my pay for those two days and haven't paid me anything.
My contract says that I would be eligible for SSP after 4 consecutive days illness but dsnt say anything for what happens during those 4 days.
My boss said I am not entitled to anything if I am ill for less than 4 days.
I am living pay check to pay check so two days pay makes a big difference.
I wanted to know if I am entitled to any pay if I am off sick for less than 4 days? Also if anyone can provide me any links regarding it?

Although if you click through on the link top right "taking sick leave" it does say you are entitled to use your annual holiday entitlement whilst off sick, you would be paid if you did that.

So if I am ill for a day I won't get anything for that day?

No you won't get any sick pay unless it is in your contract - lots of companies just offer the bare minimum of SSP.

No, you won't, unless you take it as holiday. It's rubbish, but it's not unusual.
