Help, I have lost my decree absolute and marriage certificate. Can anyone advise how I can go about getting replacement documents. Thanks in advance.

Registry office where you were married?

You get the marriage certificate from the General Register Office for £9.25 and the decree absolute from the court where you were divorced. If you know the case number a copy of the decree absolute will cost £5. If you don't know the case number it will be £45.

My marriage certificate was taken off me when I got divorced so maybe you will only need your decree absolute for anything official?

Thanks everyone
