Ex selling my items on Ebay

Hi.

I split up with my ex over 1 yr ago. Things have only just started to be amicable between us. I have previously asked for my things, furniture, collectables, daughters momentos etc on numerous occasions.

ExP says I can come and collect then changes his mind or calls the police saying I am harassing him. The police advised to leave things to cool down which I have.

I've just discovered that ExP is now selling my things on Ebay.

How can I stop this and get my stuff back. I last asked him about a month ago and got a sarcastic reply back.

Hopefully somehow with some real knowledge will come along but you could try reporting him to Ebay and speak to the police, they should be able to help you get your things back, you followed their advice but you ex has escalated things and take a screen shot of the items on ebay for evidence. CAB might be able to help with advice.

have had something similar and was advised by the police that if you have the purchase receipts then its theft and they can get involved otherwise to get them back you would need to take him to court to get them back if you can convice a judge that they were yours. Otherwise ebay will do nothing. sorry

Bid £999999 on everything and contact police.

Basically it's now theft as he clearly intends to "permanently deprive" you of the property.

Bidding £99999 on everything is a good idea.

And take screenshots of his auctions for evidence.

You can arrange with the police to go round and collect your stuff from ex's house.

If you fear he will get violent or refuse to let you have your stuff back, you can speak to the police about it.

Follow the eBay takedown request procedure, giving them reasons & contact details.
