Hi

If two people are separating that are married and the husband got advice from the CAB then can the wife also get advice from the CAB or is it a conflict of interest?

Not at my CAB - conflict of interest Smile

Is there another organisation that provides the same service as the CAB in the UK?

In some parts of the country there could be. What sort of advice in particular are you looking for? Related to the separation or something totally unrelated?

FlappingRobyn · 06/08/2013 16:06

Relating to the separation, one is a SAHP and the other is unemployed is legal aid still available to get devoiced ?

No, not any more. Since April 2013 unless your divorce includes matters such as domestic violence, forced marriage, child protection issues with Local Authority or child kidnap then no in a nutshell, no legal aid to assist.

There are plenty of sources of advice on the internet though about divorce and self representing etc.
