My husband is on his final written warning at work, tonight he was involved in an accident in work and has to take time off to recover.

Where does he stand.

They may exercise discretion following an injury in an accident, but are probably not under an obligation to do so.

I did say to offer to use his holiday entitlement, rather than go down the sick route
