Hi all

Ok I don't want to write too much I am trying to help a friend who is in a terrible state

I need to find an independent welfare benefits advisor by tomorrow morning phone numbers, websites etc please. If anyone thinks that can help I am happy to discuss by pm

Please no call the cab I already have they can't help

Befor anyone asks my friend has done nothing wrong and desperately needs help and I am out of my depth but I am all she has at the moment

Get your friend to call the Shelter helpline - their staff are trained about benefits.

There is a website called tax credit casualties if that helps? If its anything to do with an accidental benefit overpayment then there is a ton of information on that site and stories that will help your friend see she is not alone.
