I am a term time only nanny & am contracted to work until the school term finishes (23rd July this year)
There's been indication that my job may not exist in September.
My notice period is 4 weeks. As I'm not contracted to work during August, am I right in thinking that my notice period should end on the last working day of my contract? As no notice has been given where do I stand?
Also my pay is worked out over the 12 months not just the contracted months, which means my last pay should be Sept 1st (am paid 1st of every month which started on 1st October 2012), can I legally ask for that money in a lump sum?
