Strange but we bought a house around seven years ago but it has never appeared in any of the Sold price web sites , it's the previous sale which is shown. Contacted the solicitor who conveyances they said all fine and it was registered with the land registry. So why don't we appear on the Sold websites? We are having the house valued at the moment and we want to show what we paid for the house not what the previous owner paid. Can you help?

Contact the Land Registry and tell them - it's probably human error and the data was input incorrectly. I'm sure they will be happy to rectify it once you have pointed it out. The solicitor will probably have just called up the Title Register to make sure that your name and the relevant dates appear on it - which is the important part - they won't have drawn the omission to the LR's attention.
