So 5 pages of allegations is a bit excessive isn't it? I sort of know the answer but.....

Maybe...it depends. Is it your own petition or one you're drafting for a client? (Think I can guess the answer actually!)

drafting it is very therapeutic though

I tell my clients to pour a giant glass of wine and let it all out on a piece of paper then drop it off for me. Then I edit it like buggery. Sounds like you have to wear both hats! (and drink more wine!)

Have to say though, jolly bad advice to suggest getting pissed before school run! hic!

Took me ages to do mine. It was even worse when I had to do a statement. We do make the worst clients.

You do not need very much. We also sent thedraft to my ex husband's lawyer and were happy with the changes they wanted. We basically have divorce on demand after a year in England so a bit silly you have to set this stuff out as in just about any marriage however happy you could find enough for an unreasonable behaviour petition. We might as well change it to divorce on demand after a year if one party desires that.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall when he receives his draft petition with 3 pages of allegations! Do you think you might need another culling session
