So 5 pages of allegations is a bit excessive isn't it? I sort of know the answer but..... Blush

Maybe...it depends. Is it your own petition or one you're drafting for a client? (Think I can guess the answer actually!)

MooseBeTimeForSpring · 04/06/2013 13:45

Whatever happened to "first, worst and last"?

Our local DJs wouldn't bother reading all of that.

NumTumDeDum · 04/06/2013 13:45

Crikey. Sounds like one I had once. LIP?

MOSagain · 04/06/2013 13:57
Grin drafting it is very therapeutic though Wink

I tell my clients to pour a giant glass of wine and let it all out on a piece of paper then drop it off for me. Then I edit it like buggery. Sounds like you have to wear both hats! (and drink more wine!)

MOSagain · 04/06/2013 14:10

Grin Have to say though, jolly bad advice to suggest getting pissed before school run! hic!

I never said it was legal advice! Perhaps I should put before everything I type ......

You can post me yours and I'll post you mine!

LOL, have culled to 3 pages. Thats the best its going to be. I know, a LIP has a fool for a client Wink

Took me ages to do mine. It was even worse when I had to do a statement. We do make the worst clients.

Xenia · 05/06/2013 10:53

You do not need very much. We also sent thedraft to my ex husband's lawyer and were happy with the changes they wanted. We basically have divorce on demand after a year in England so a bit silly you have to set this stuff out as in just about any marriage however happy you could find enough for an unreasonable behaviour petition. We might as well change it to divorce on demand after a year if one party desires that.

notoutingmyself · 05/06/2013 17:24

I'd love to be a fly on the wall when he receives his draft petition with 3 pages of allegations! Do you think you might need another culling session Wink

MOSagain · 05/06/2013 18:32

No more pissing around, have issued :-)
