Conflicting advice about First Appointment

hello

I have been using a pay as you go solicitor who I am very pleased with.

However, I am unsure about the following because her advice seems to differ from things I have read.

DHs Form E is incomplete so she says to file my Questionnaire with the court and say the First Appointment should be postponed until the questions are answered.

However I've read elsewhere that the First Appointment is so that the judge can decide whether the Questions are reasonable.

Which is correct?
