in the bit where it asks for the date of birth of parties and any children of the family, I presume this means only children born into the family formed from the divorcing parties (or taken on as a result of the family being formed) and should not include any children that belong solely to a partner of a new relationship.

Not sure that I have worded it right, but in simple terms should it include only me, STBXH, our DS and not the children of STBXH new girlfriend by 2 other men and not STBXH.

You just need to insert the DOBs for children of the family, ie children who lived with you all together.

I know that what I personally need to complete, but what about STBXH? He's saying he had been he should include these children he's taken on.
Bit galling considering the dad of 1 skipped the country to avoid paying CSA and the dad of the other is 'uncertain', but definitely not STBXH, so no maintenance for that one either.

You are right OP - the 'family' means the one where the adults are divorcing, not the ' new family' combination of either of them.

so as you say, children who were born into or became part of the 'divorcing family' are included, but children of new partners are not.
