How long does legal aid last? My partner went to solicitors for child access in october the solicitor sent the mediation letter out but his x came to an agreement before thy attended mediation however shes gone back on it now. Will the legal aid he had before still be active and how long for? Thanks

Has he asked his solicitor?

No we havent got the money to pay the solicitor if its run out and we wouldnt know until we saw him receptionist cant tell us so we trying to find out to try and avoid oweing money we dont have for him to tell us its run out as we have used the free consultation and cnt av another with same solicitor but if legal aid is still active he cnt use it with a different solicitor x
