landlord insurance

Hi,
We are letting out flat because we're moving abroad. I have looked at landlord insurance but I am not sure if it makes sense? It's just a 1 bed flat in a managed block. Does LL insurance more apply for more expensive properties/ houses?

What are your thoughts.

No. Don't rely on normal insurance - my boss did this, and then there was a fire - they didn't pay.

LL insurance can (if you want) cover deliberate damage - normal insurance won't.
