Returned via collect plus but lost receipt

On 7/2/13 I made a return via collect plus to Warehouse - the value of returns was just under £300. I stupidly lost the receipt and Warehouse don't seem to have received my return yet. I've been in contact with them, but they haven't responded yet. Do I have a leg to stand on if the package doesn't turn up? I am so worried and cross with myself for not taking better care of the receipt. Any advice very gratefully received.

You paid online though if it was Collect+? So, do you have an email reciept or paypal transaction number?

Thanks for replying. I have an online receipt from Warehouse when I bought the goods, but collect plus is free returns so I have no proof that I actually handed the parcel over to the shopkeeper.

Oh I see.... erm....

Does the original receipt have any details? Did you have to print the return label yourself or was it a preprinted one?

The original receipt is the confirmation email of my order, but is no proof that I sent anything back. The returns label was pre-printed. Sad

I took two parcels to the newsagents and sent them via Collect Plus. I only got one receipt which I thought was fine. One parcel never arrived back and I didn't get the money back. I ought to have been given two receipts apparently. :(
Mine was two pairs of boots so £160. :(

Wow - sorry for wasting your time - I just this second got a confirmation email that they have received my order! What a relief! I will never ever be so careless with a receipt again! I had just about kissed that money goodbye. Thanks so much for trying to help me out though Thanks

I've just seen your message WhichisBest - really sorry to hear that. I will look out for that, as i use Collect plus a lot.
