I am helping my ex DP prepare a statement of means for an adjustment order,
He earns £499 per week
Pays ex £300 per week per court order divorce settlement. £50 per child x3 £100 spouse maintenance and £50 arrears due to confusion of the order.
Rent, utilities, car tax/ insurance, phone, finance/bank loan leaves him with £20 a week for food and socializing, today he has minus £25 in bank after being paid thur am and he has only paid bills and maintenance and 1/2 the cost of a school trip.
He pays nothing to me for our DD but we have 50/50 custody so that is fair.
I do still help him financially if needs be but the question is can he put the £2000 he owes me onto the statement of means as a loan, it shows from my acc to his and is all after we broke up?
He wants to try to reduce the spousal maintenance, the order for payment is now 10 yrs old, will the court be able to adjust it?
What is the percentage or the amount of money a court would allow him for himself for accommodation etc?
Can he ask for a statement of means from his ex ?
