Not returning after mat leave

Hi after some advice please. I will be writing to my boss to let them know I wish to extend my mat leave by 3 months (so 9 instead of 6) I would also like to add on to the end the 2 weeks hol and 6 bh I will have accrued during that time. So my return date is early aug.

They are changing my working hours from the beginning of sept which I am not agreeing to so wish to not return at all.

Do I just tell them I am extending and then write again near the end of that period to say I am not returning? Or do I put both in the same letter? If I do that will that mean I won't acrue the extra week al for those three months?

Would the change of hours as well as a couple of other changes in my contract that have happened already over the last 18 months that I never agreed to mean they will be making me redundant?

They have cover for me now who is happy to stay long term, but if it is redundancy I know they can't replace me with someone doing my exact same job which the cover nanny would be doing in August until the hours changed. Could I agree to that happening from then so I don't return for 2 weeks (they go away at the end of aug for 2-3 weeks) and then leave again. Which won't be good for my charges.

Please help. Mainly about whether I put both bits in the same letter or should write another at a later date.

Thank you
