Recently had a first hearing for a contact case. I had not seen the other party for over 7 years and knew very little about them. The safeguarding check (schedule 2 report) brought to light that they had previously been involved in a case that involved CAFCASS and the case number was given. It is now closed.
They obviously can't say what this was for but I am now wondering if they have at some point had another child.
I have had a look on the CAFCASS site and other than for contact type things involving court I can't see what else this could have been about.
Could anyone add anything please. The CSA have never mentioned them having to support another child and it affecting my payments. I don' think they have a partner at the moment, if they have they were not at court with them.
