I think I need some legal advice - I'm in London if anybody can help! I have no idea where to start

I think a few more details will be needed to help. Why is she suing you? Is it employment law related?

florenceuk · 22/12/2012 14:39

yes its employment related - it's a dispute about holiday pay

check your household insurance as you may be covered for some legal costs

failing that lots of lawyers offer one hours free advice

you need an employment lawyer

ACAS can also offer you advice as an employer - google for their number

thanks Rubyslippers.

This should be fairly straightforward. Did she have a contract setting out her holiday entitlement and how it was accrued? Do you dispute the claim?

I'd recommend re-posting in Employment matters and hope that flowery is around, she is one of MNets experts on employment law.

florenceuk · 22/12/2012 21:59

Thanks, might try and pm her
