Company went into administration during consultation period

Hi,

I have been advied to post here because someone may be able to advise me.

I was notified on the 19th Nov that the company I worked for ( as an employee for 17months) would be making redundancy and due to me being out of my probation period, I would be given a months consultation period, and then on the 19th December would be (most likely) given a month notice period.

I receieved an email today stating that the company has gone into administration and have been advised by someone to raise a invoice for the amounts owing to me.

I was wondering if someone could let me know if the company still have to honour the consultation period and 1 month notice at all and whether I need to claim for that on my invoice?

Any help would be great, I and a lot of my colleagues have been left utterly screwed over and have no idea what we can do.

Thank you in advance

Are you a union member? You need advice, possibly CAB or ACAS could help?

Have you thought about contacting the administrator and asking what is required?

we have been told tgat we cannot contact the admi.istrator and that they will contact us. i have googled the name of the company that they told us would be dealing with it and as far as i can see, they dont exist. none of us are part or a union and wierdly, the company is not showing on companies house as going into administration and on another website it shows that a new director has been appointed. i am so confused and genuinely have no idea what to do next.
