Changing names

It is looking likely due to something informed police of that it is likely to go to court ( I'm not in trouble )

But for several reasons including some personal stuff I have made devscion to change my name I Do not wanting it linked with his after in any shape or form or even have to share the same name or even any family name do I'll be completely changing it

If I was to Di before hand will court insist on using my new name or can the court stuff and statement be left in my old name

Or am I better leaving changing my name to after its all over

Courts will have to use your legal name, whether that's the old or the new.

But having some extra time means you can go through all the people you need to notify, and have letters already written for when you sign the deedpoll.

Thank you

In that case I shall wait to do it after . But good idea on preparing all the letters ready for after
