C100 contact application received. Sections are missing, is that normal?

Hi, I hope someone can just answer a quick question for me please?

I have had a C100 court application for access through from DS's absent father. Checking through it again last night before doing the acknowledgement form to return, I noticed that the numbered sections weren't all there. Sections 6, 9 & 10 were missing. I have also had a copy of the application from Ex's solicitor and that had the same sections missing. Having looked up the form online, i have seen that those are the 3 sections relating to child safety and allegations of abuse so I am panicking a bit about why they aren't there, especially as my ex made a malicious report of neglect to the police a month before applying to the court. I didn't get a C8 form of Supplemental Information which I understand should have been sent detailing any claims made in the missing sections.

Is it normal to leave sections out? Would they just have been left out if they were blank or would they be left out due to child safety issues if an accusation has been made?

Those sections are on alternate pages. It was probably printed originally on both sides but not all copied on both sides. ring the solicitor to tell them you have bits missing, and they'll send you them.

So it's more likely to be an admin snafu than a sign of something more ominous? Sorry if that is a stupid question, it's just given which sections are missing, I'm getting a bit panicky. Thanks for the speedy response Collaborate Smile

Probably nothing sinister. If there are concerns about the safety of a child a C1A would have been completed and served.
