Child maintenance back pay question

Advice needed. DH has had contact with old girlfriend who says 23 year old daughter is his and she wants maintenance back pay. Does anyone know how he would stand legally if she is his daughter?

The only way he would be made to pay backpayments is if she opened a case with the CSA at some point between the child being born and 19, and they wrote to your husband or rang him and he ignored them.

If the CSA have never been contacted then he wont be liable for anything.

She's 23 - so nothing

A paternity test would also be in order before any relationship is established.
