OK, have an issue that I hope that someone can help with...

Basically there was a financial hearing today between myself and my ex, and I didn't know anything about it. Apparently it had been brought forward from a date I knew about, yet apparently court orders have been made, and I didn't have any opportunity to represent myself. Unfortunately I am representing myself as I can't afford a solicitor.

How can this happen? Apparently also, the Official Solicitor has been allocated, yet I have capacity, although am quiet ill, and it takes me a while to think about things..

Just wondering what I can do about this? Seems to me that at every opportunity I am getting done over. When I produce to court the fact that the other side are lying, and have told several big very influential lies on which decisions where made the judge hasn't even looked at it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The OS cannot be appointed unless you have been professionally assesed by a psychiatrist for capacity. You should have received a copy of the report.

The OS will appoint a solicitor to represent you. They should be your first port of call.

What is your illness?

I can't say too much, otherwise it will give me up..

Put it this way, not very well, in massive amounts of pain, and an ex wife from hell..
