I know this is an old topic but ive googled cafcass report and found some messages on this topic helpful. I am currently going to a contact centre ,my sons father sees him once every 2 weeks on a saturday (since feb) weve recently been reviewed in court and theyve told him he will have to have a cafcass report,PPI course, anger managaement etc done before our next court date. and to actually turn up 15 mins before our scheduled time as the father is ALWAYS late ordoesnt bother to turn up. Hes recently been convicted for ABH and will be sentenced after our court hearing. I have to have a cafcass report done on him next week and my solicitor is advising me to ask if it can be posponed until after his warned date of sentencing.... my question is 1. do you think it will be likely and 2. will an ABH offence mean unsupervised contact can happen still? as im very UNHAPPY for any unsupervised contact to happen...other than ABH there are alot of other issues finding father not fit for this to happen.. PLEASE HELP VERY WORRIED at the moment. thank u!
