hi Just a quick question please regarding the use of text messages and the legality of them ?
Are they submissable in a tribunal from a contract phone?
just general texts proving that a person was having tea being picked up etc not in a murder case or anything like that

Thank you in advance

A text message can be submitted as evidence. However, it does not prove that the person sending the message was where they claim or doing what they say. The message could also be challenged on the basis that it was not sent by the owner of the handset.
