Lousy service from Jessops. Any action I can take?

I bought a camera from Jessops just after Christmas. The lens has now packed up. I took the lens and camera back to the shop expecting them to replace the kit.

Instead they have sent the lens away for repair which will take up to 6 weeks. Leaving me without the camera for the whole period. No offer of a replacement or loan of a lens.

Is there any action I can take. Their "customer support" is no use whatsoever.

To be honest I don't think you can do anything if they're making an effort to repair the fault.

Unless their T&Cs specify you're entitled to something else, I think they're complying with their statutory obligations.

If you paid by credit card, then you have extra consumer rights. Did you?

I can't remember if I paid by credit or debit card. I'll check the receipt.

I know I took out a 0% finance deal
