Mum withholding money

My granny has died and as me and my mum haven't been speaking she has given my brother £5000 from the will but withheld mine. Is there any way I can find out if I was in the will ? Or see what my granny wanted ?

Thanks

Have asked DH to advise:

"Once probate has been granted, the will becomes a public document and is available from the relevant Probate Registry. Justice.gov.uk states: How to obtain a copy of a will (recorded message with instructions) 020 7947 6983"

So basically, yes, you should be able to see what was in the will. Whoever was the executor of the will should have made sure your gran's wishes were carried out... was that your mum? Or do you not know?

Thank you that's really helpful, yes my mum is the executor which is the problem, thank you for the advice I will see if it was in the will, if not I think I will just leave her to it

It's possible that your grandmother didn't leave money to you or your brother, but to your mum, and she has chosen to give part of that to your brother and not to you.

Yeah I think that is very possible as I had a cheque posted for the children for £100 and £400 which is their ages
