2 houses were built right next door to us - we weren't aware they would be. I've recently been told that the council should contact all neighbours when they receive an applications. I've checked on the online planning thing and it seems the council wrote to houses that over look which are on the street behind us but the didn't write to us.
Their wall is less than a metre from the boundary with my house and less than 3 metres from my back door
Should they have written to us and could anything be done now as my kitchen is really dark now as no light through the glass in door and the houses look horrid too
