Hello
This is probably naive but...
I am the only wage earner and wonder if I can claim (my soon to be husband's) tax free personal allowance.
I work a full time job and agency(well I will be soon)Just wondered if his allowance can be transferred to mine?

But you could put some of your savings into his name in an ISa so that you get two lots of tax free interest.

Wish we could get some sort of something(money wise) for a parent staying home with children.

Haha Yes.
Have looked into tax credits.Will get some for abit.Then none,
I will be in London Mon to Fri.Salary looks good on paper but breaking it down not so good,hence doing agency work for our food etc.Only for 1-2 years so looking long term.Not complaing(much)...just wondered.
