CSA Found ex after 9 years

Was left by my boyfriend when i was 7 months pregnant and he has never seen me or my DD since. Have located him on FB and have his works address
I am hapily married now with a great hubby and another DD ..wondering if i can make a CSA claim now or should i leave it .. My daughter calls my DH Dad and they have a fab relationship just makes me angry he has not contributed ...Any advice //

I can totally understand why you want him to pay. And of course dc are not "pay per view." But how will you feel if he decides he wants contact? You might be stirring up a hornets' nest.

I have been honest from the start .. he was not the nicest when i was pregnant tried to bully me in to abortion/adoption.
My DD has been asking questions recently and i have told her as honestly as posssible but left harmful/hurtful aspects
I know where he is and maybe hust leave it at that as done ok up to know
Would just like him to accept her as do not want a door shut in her face when she is 16

I dont think CSA is back datable so it would only be from the time of your claim.

On the personal side of it maybe you could contact him via fb to test the waters. If he is genuinely interested in your DD and has grown up and is less of a prat from her pov it may be best. Children do have a curiosity about their absent fathers, but as he has shown no interest so far ? Tricky one.
