I witness a very minor car to pedestrian incident today and I've been approached to be a witness to the Police. I can't go too much into detail because I don't want to be recognised, but it's so awkward. I know both parties involved, and to be honest, they were both at fault IMO. I don't think either party would like my statement, so my question is, should the police contact me and take a statement, would either party get to hear about it
